Owning up to her obsessive personality, Juana Everett finds the strength to break away from her traumatic addiction. Now letting go of all shame and defeating her fears, she’s released her empowering single “Free As A Bird”. The dreamy new track highlights glistening guitars and dark, emotive vocals. In the reflective lyrics she referrers to herself in the third person and details an encounter where a woman asks for the blunt truth in order to begin her healing process.

The organic film-like visuals of Everett playing on a rooftop was directed and filmed during quarantine at a six-foot distance. With the beautiful, blue sky and trees behind her, there is a natural, relaxed vibe that pairs perfectly with the song’s tranquil yet intense sound. Everett’s work stunningly depicts the human experience with elegant strength and resilience. Check out the serene video for “Free As A Bird” now.
