PHNTMS unleash their energetic single “Back Burner”
Edgy anthem rock fused with a soulful 1960s sound, PHNTMS latest single “Back Burner” showcases gravelly guitars and emotive effervescent vocals fusing together to form a mesmerizing release. The song is a relatable narration of bad timing in a relationship and feeling apprehensive about taking the next step.
With half of the band identifying as queer, PHNTMS’ aim is to be a great to support the LGBTQA+ community. Gene Murphy confides, “We openly talk about lesbian relationships in our music and we want to bring hope to anyone who is in the closet and doesn’t feel safe coming out.”
